Fundamentals of leak detection and vacuum technologyWe would like to inform that Company "Vaсtron" and Saint Petersburg State Electrotechnical University "LETI" provide training "Fundamentals of leak detection and vacuum technology".

The topic is "Operation of leak detectors, vacuum pumps and systems".

The course is intended for specialists of:

  • research centers and laboratories;
  • nuclear, hydro and thermal power plants;
  • space and aviation industries;
  • oil and gas industry;
  • general industries: electronics, heat-exchangers, batteries, etc.

Training will take place from from 08 to 11 September 2015, at the St. Petersburg street. Torzhkovskaya, Building 5.

Theoretical classes will be held by university lecturer, Ph.D. in the field of vacuum technology Maksim Vinogradov.

Training course "Fundamentals of leak detection and vacuum technology"In the course of practical training specialists will be able to study the design of modern leak detectors, learn how to carry out periodic maintenance of the devices, perform the leak test of products samples.

Practical demonstration will be conducted on:

  1. Pressure decay leak detector S9;
  2. Modern mass spectrometer leak detector HELIOT;
  3. Built-in mass spectrometer leak detector HELIOT;
  4. Portable Helium Leak Detector X1;
  5. Vacuum pumps and accessories for leak detection;
  6. Practical issues of widespread maintenance of vacuum equipment;
  7. Automation solutions for the tightness control.

The theoretical and practical trainings are devoted to improve skill of the specialists on:

  • using the different modes of leak detection;
  • maintenance and operation of different types of leak detectors;
  • interpretation of leak nature in the products and improving the quality of the products

The University Certificate of professional development will be issued in favor of specialists who passed the tests in accordance to the training.

Each participant will receive CD with videos and copy of training materials.
